Marc Newson and Apple‘s Jony Ive have collaborated on a special (RED) edition of the Leica M to be auctioned off at Sotheby’s on November 23 alongside a bevy of additional (RED) products.

Newson is set to present his second collaboration with Dutch apparel brand G-Star,bringing his flowing biomorphic style to a range of jeans, shirts, and jackets for the new season Fall/Winter 2013 collection, available at stores in early November.

I has been a while since i've reviewed a brand or give a shout out on the blog.Last week was my so called awesome productive fun week when i got to spend my time with my love ones.Meeting up with old and new friends.Thank to my Jakarta and Bali peeps especially Didit and Melody and the rest of the crew(you know who you are) that has been to wonderful to me and my wife.

When i started my brand almost 8 years ago i was more on the low low side, as if I'm doing this for the love of the graphics or clothing that i made for my self,family or my close friends, but not until recently i made that move to go on small scale production with a range of t-shirts.Good feedback and responses as i speak and awesome people who has been helping me a lot on how and where rather than google it self.These exercise to me of turning ideas to reality was something really impossible to explain.

I have been and always into the world in general, either my own country or others,who's that? who's wearing what? what happen to the world has been part of my everyday lives, to me the understanding of things is important before you decide to get yourself into something, know your market cap is the term, so i was a fan of steetwear before i put myself into it.So to me experience is necessary.So brands like Supreme for New York , Bape for Japan and Pigalle for Paris was the concept here and i got to meet homegrown brand form Jakarta Indonesia by the name CAPITAL. 

What Kims has done, put me in so much respect to him and his crew started in 2008 till today.The brand is going strong and with respect of its local pride as their motto.The most importantly Kims knows how the whole demographics works for his brand, from production line to retail season after season.I really hope Malaysian street wear brand can look, understand and have CAPITAL as one of the example on how a brand works, it has not always about trying to be cool all the times folks, substance and living in reality is the key.Big up to CAPITALJKT and Kims as one of the realist cat in the game i've seen in along time...truth.
